The judges have been revealed for hit series The Block NZ, which returns to Three later this month.

Jason Bonham and Bernadette Morrison were last seen on The Block in 2015 on The Block NZ: Villa Wars, and are renowned as the toughest judges from the previous five seasons.

They'll be in charge of judging the four new teams renovating four homes on Auckland's North Shore.

Morrison is recognised as a top-performing real estate salesperson, working as residential sales manager at a leading Ponsonby real estate branch.

She's been in the business for 13 years and guides a high-energy team of dedicated and seasoned salespeople.

Bonham is the director and founder of Bonham Interior, and has substantial experience in luxury residential and commercial design in the USA, UK and New Zealand.

He believes in a "no-beige policy", as it is so often seen in New Zealand interiors, and he has a fiercely anti-Scandi attitude.

The teams face new challenges

The teams have 12 weeks to complete their homes. They're the largest houses in series history, each with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a double garage.

This year the footprint of the houses is almost identical, so the teams will need to really push the boundaries and showcase their design skills to earn the highest price on auction day.

MediaWorks has confirmed the return of all programme partners from last season, along with some new partners joining for the first time.

Broadcast sponsor AMP will be back, along with Freedom, Pita Pit and new partner NZ Post.

The next season of The Block NZ launches on June 25 at 7pm.
