Donald Trump ecstasy pills are said to be on the streets of Europe, with drug dealers promising they'll "make partying great again".

Available in orange or pink and reportedly containing a dangerous 220mg of MDMA each, the tablets are produced in the Netherlands and for sale on the dark web.

The Star on Sunday  investigated the pills and found them for sale on a dark web site offering 1000 for £1,200 (NZ$2150), advertised with the line: "Trump makes partying great again".

Another site the UK tabloid viewed describes the ecstasy as, "Quality orange Donald Trump tablets... These pills will blow your head off.

"Very nice press, really detailed. Comes in the actual shape of the head of the president of the USA".

In June, 'particularly strong' Ikea-branded ecstasy pills were reported to be circulating the UK, with an 18-year-old dying after taking some.

"It's getting to be a game of 'who's got the coolest pill?' I know for a fact the Donald Trumps are very popular because of who he is," a source based in Manchester told the Star on Sunday.

He added that they're for sale in the city for £8 (NZ$14) a pill or £20 (NZ$35) for three.
