Fifth Harmony are set to headline KFC Edgefest 2017, which is heading to Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington this November.

After forming on The X Factor USA in 2012, Fifth Harmony has gone on to top NZ charts with their hit 'Work from Home', which has been streamed more than 685 million times on Spotify.

The four-piece pop band will be joined at the festival by the likes of Jonas Blue, Astrid S, Kings and Mitch James, with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

Edgefest hasn't been held in a decade after three events were held in the mid-2000s. Those festivals featured the likes of Chingy, Alien Ant Farm and The Living End.

"The Edge is stoked to be partnering with KFC to bring the Edgefest to life. This festival is guaranteed to be the ultimate music event to kick off New Zealand's 2017 summer in style," says The Edge content director Ryan Rathbone.

KFC Edgefest 2017 dates and venues are as follows:

  • November 3 - Horncastle Arena, Christchurch
  • November 4 - TSB Bank Arena, Wellington
  • November 5 - Spark Arena, Auckland

Pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase from 9am on Wednesday before general tickets go on sale Monday, July 31.
