Shocking footage has captured the moment a reveller suffered a terrible stage dive fail at a Lil Yachty concert in Auckland on Tuesday night.
The 'Peek A Boo' rapper was performing at the Powerstation when a fan leapt from the upper level into the crowd below, but avoided the people and belly-flopped heavily onto the hard floor instead.
"It was such a loud thud... gosh, I felt sick," an audience member told Newshub.
"[Lil Yachty and guests] all went off stage after and did their sting and then came back on."
Video supplied to the NZ Herald captures the moment, with a journalist present at the incident describing it as "sickening".
Although the impact appears severe, the young man doesn't seem to be seriously injured and gets up immediately.
Lil Yachty himself took to Instagram to post a video of his and two guests carrying out more successful stage dives.
The 19-year-old Atlanta hip-hop star was in New Zealand for only the one gig, following a slot at Splendour in the Grass festival in Australia.
