Young Thug has promised to donate profits from a Friday night (local time) concert in New York to under fire nonprofit organisation Planned Parenthood.
The rapper announced his generous donation just hours before the show, saying he too was a teenage parent.
"Planned [or] unplanned parenthood is beautiful."
Planned Parenthood provides sexual health care in the United States, similar to that of Family Planning in New Zealand. It is currently under immense pressure with President Trump's administration threatening to cut government funding.
On Friday (local time), one third of Iowa clinics were closed, with 15,000 women losing access to the low-cost medical services.
The organisation applauded Young Thug's efforts, saying he's helping young people "make educated sex and parenting decisions".
Lorde also took to Twitter to support the artist, sharing his original tweet with a love heart emoji.
It is not known how much money Young Thug raised.
