A tearful Abby Lee Miller has said that she doesn't think she'll survive in prison in an emotional new interview.

Before she reported to a Californian prison on July 12, the Dance Moms reality star gave an emotional interview to The View's Jedediah Bila.

The talk show posted a teaser of the interview on Twitter today.

"I made lots of mistakes," Miller, 50, says in the teaser for the interview, adding, "I probably won't survive."

In the sneak peek, Miller also addressed how her bankruptcy fraud has affected her career and legacy. "I gave kids a new life. No one can take that away from me. No one."

As the clip ended, Miller owned up to her mistakes, stating "I'm doing the time. I am taking the blame".

The choreographer and reality television star was charged in 2015 with bankruptcy fraud, concealment of bankruptcy assets and false bankruptcy declarations.

She attempted to hide US$775,000 of income from the Lifetime series, its spin-off Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition and multiple other projects.
