There are fresh rumours Oasis could be about to reform, after Liam Gallagher tweeted he'd "love to play" a show his brother Noel is booked to perform at.

Noel tweeted about the show on Friday (NZ time), which aims to raise money for the Manchester Memorial Fund set up in the wake of the Ariana Grande concert bombing in May.

Liam on Sunday (NZ time) said he would "love to play that gig in MCR on sept 9th but I'm afraid I'm playing in Spain".

But, raising hopes he could take the stage with his brother for the first time in nearly a decade, Liam added: "Saying that though, it's only a hop skip n a jump."

Liam played the One Love concert in June, but Noel didn't.

In July, Liam said it was "inevitable" Oasis would get back together one day, once he and Noel mend their relationship.

Twenty-three died in the Manchester Arena attack, and 250 were injured.
