Lorde has raised eyebrows at the MTV VMAs after not singing a word during her performance of 'Homemade Dynamite'.

The singer tweeted earlier in the day that she had such severe flu, she was hospitalised
"You can't tell in these pictures but i have the flu so bad i needed an IV," she shared with her followers. "#Showgoeson #cutelilproppedupcorpse."
The Green Light singer rallied enough for a performance in which she didn't sing, but instead performed an interpretive dance to a song off her new album Melodrama.
MTV tweeterd a video of her performance, writing "Learning some of these @lorde moves for my next party. Who wants to help carry me?"
The Kiwi songstress wowed in a light purple dress with matching eye shadow on the red carpet.
Lorde was nominated for Artist of the Year, but lost out to 'Shape of You' singer Ed Sheeran.
