Netflix has announced a new way to 'Netflix and chill', creating themed strains of cannabis.
The video streaming service has partnered with a weed dispensary to develop different strains of cannabis based on some of its most popular shows.
The 'Netflix Collection' will allow consumers to choose the right type of high for their favourite TV series.
"Each strain was cultivated with the specific shows in mind, designed to complement each title based on their tone. For example, sillier shows may be more indica dominant, while dramedies will be more sativa dominant to help the more powerful scenes resonate," a Netflix press release says.
Examples include 'Prickly Muffin', based on Bojack Horseman - with the tagline: "When you smoke this, it gets a little easier. But you gotta do it every day" - and 'Banana Stand Kush', from Arrested Development.
The collection will be sold at a pop-up event at Alternative Herbal Health Services in West Hollywood this weekend. It is only available to legal medical marijuana card-holding customers.
