Sofia Vergara has posed nude for a new Women's Health photo shoot, posing for several sexy snaps that celebrate her impressive body.
"Here's a woman, 45, being able to show her body," Vergara told the magazine in its annual 'naked issue', which celebrates body confidence. "It's not like before, when it was just young girls."
The Modern Family bares all for the September issue, in a shoot two days after a trip to Rome where she says she "ate like an animal".
Vergara says she had reservations when she was first approached for the issue, telling her rep, "I'm going to be 45 years old! Stop putting me in naked things! Let me age with dignity!"
Although her body would perhaps tell otherwise, she says she "hates" working out.
"It's like torture for me," Vergara says.
"I'm in a bad mood two hours before, I'm in a bad mood while I'm doing it, and I'm in a bad mood at the end because I have to schedule the next class." But, she adds, "Joe [ Magniello, her husband] built a very nice gym in the house, so I don't have any excuses."
Vergara says the key is not to actively try to look younger, but to be the best at your own age.
"I want to look my age, but I want to look great. I think if you are obsessed with this 'I want to look younger' thing, you're going to go crazy," she says.
