For pop culture fans with a particular penchant for '80s movies, an upcoming UK auction has some very exciting items on offer.

If you've always wanted to own Marty McFly's shoes from Back To The Future, a M41A Pulse Rifle from the movie Aliens or Conan the Barbarian's actual sword, now you can  if you've got several thousand dollars spare, that is.

'Prop Store' in London is hosting a live auction on September 26, featuring 600 screen-used film props, costumes, castings and items of behind-the-scenes Hollywood memorabilia.

Other items being sold include Bill Murray's Ghostbusters costume, Jack Nicholson's Joker costume from Batman, Sylvester McCoy's Dr Who hat and the Witch-King of Angmar's crown from Lord Of The Rings.

Of the aforementioned treasures, the lowest starting bid is more than NZ$7000.

Prop Store's Brandon Alinger told Wired.com: "The pieces have been sourced from a variety of different places, including private collectors, studios and production companies, industry personnel and rental houses."

Mr Alinger's team has thoroughly researched and authenticated each item.
