Janet Jackson fans are concerned for the singer after she broke down in tears onstage in Houston, Texas on Saturday while singing her 1997 hit 'What About'.
The 51-year-old, who recently went on tour following the birth of her son Eissa in December, could barely get out the lyrics to the abuse-themed track.
A video from the concert shows her putting her hand to her face, and shaking with emotion. It takes several moments for the singer to compose herself, before saying to the crowd, "this is me".
Jackson is on the second leg of her tour, which she renamed her State of the World tour after putting it on hold for her pregnancy.
She's currently going through a divorce from her ex-husband and father to her son, Wissam Al Mana, after five years of marriage.
