Kevin Hart apologises to family over alleged sex tape

Funnyman Kevin Hart has apologised to his pregnant wife and children over "wrong behaviour" that has allegedly been caught on video and used for attempted extortion.

The Central Intelligence star says sorry in an emotional video uploaded to his Instagram account, confessing: "It's a shitty moment, when you know you're wrong."

Hart is refusing to pay off a woman who reportedly threatened to extort him with a sexually suggestive video.

Gossip website TMZ claims to have viewed the video, which they describe as "highly produced" and containing "two people having sex on a bed".

The woman at the centre of the alleged blackmail attempt claims Hart orchestrated a recent hurricane charity drive to "get ahead" before "being exposed as the liar and cheater he is".

"I have made countless attempts to expose this information to various blogs, in an attempt to also get paid," she adds.

In Hart's video on Instagram, he says he has already discussed and apologised in person to his wife Eniko Parrish and his two kids from a previous marriage.

"At the end of the day, man, I just simply got to do better," he says.

"But I'm not going to allow a person to have financial gain off my mistakes... I'd rather 'fess up to my mistakes."

This is the third time in the past two months that Hart has addressed cheating rumours on social media.
