The upcoming Lady Gaga documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two offers a clue as to why the super star split with her fiance, Taylor Kinney.
According to the documentary, the pressures of enormous global success may have put too much strain on their relationship.
Gaga also seems to believe this is a recurring theme in her love life, saying in the doco that her "love life just imploded".
"I sold 10 million [records] and lost Matt [her ex]. I sold 30 million and lost Luc [another ex], I did a movie and lose Taylor. It's like a turnover. This is the third time I've had my heart broken like this."
The music icon announced her split with Kinney on Instagram in July last year; the couple had been together five years.
The star seems to have taken strength from her relationship strife however, also saying in the documentary; "my threshold for bullsh*t with men is just… I don't have one anymore. In relationships, you have to move together."
Gaga: Five Foot Two is set for worldwide release on September 22.
