'Mr Worldwide' is the latest celebrity helping victims of Hurricane Maria.

Pitbull has offered up his own jet to cancer patients in Puerto Rico, so they can travel to hospitals on the United States mainland, ET Online reports.

Hurricane Maria has been the most powerful storm to hit Puerto Rico in almost a century, tearing roofs from houses, pulling trees from the ground and flooding streets.

Officials are saying it could take six months to restore power to all its 3.5 million people. Many hospitals are without power and some have been running out of fuel to power their generators.

"Thanks to singer @pitbull for lending your private plane to transport cancer patients from PR to USA so that they can get chemo," Puerto Rico Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón tweeted in Spanish on Tuesday.

The 'I Know You Want Me' artist told E! News: "Thank God we're blessed to help. Just doing my part."

Jennifer Lopez is also helping out, announcing on Sunday she was donating US$1 million to hurricane relief efforts.
