Harvey Weinstein: What he's been accused of so far

  • 12/10/2017

More allegations against disgraced media mogul Harvey Weinstein have emerged - most recently from Cara Delevingne.

Weinstein is being accused of sexual harassment by a number of women in Hollywood, leading to his dismissal from his own company and separation from his wife.

Here's a list of all the people to allege sexual assault or harassment so far.

Cara Delevingne

Delevingne says Weinstein asked inappropriate questions about her sex life, told her to kiss another woman, then tried to kiss her.

Delevingne shared her story in an Instagram post.

"I want women and girls to know that being harassed or abused or raped is NEVER their fault and not talking about it will always cause more damage than speaking the truth. I am relieved to be able to share this," she said.

"In every industry and especially in Hollywood, men abuse their power using fear and get away with it. This must stop. The more we talk about it, the less power we give them. I urge you all to talk and to the people who defend these men, you are part of the problem."

Léa Seydoux

Actress Léa Seydoux told The Guardian Weinstein invited her to his hotel room, where he assaulted her.

"We were talking on the sofa when he suddenly jumped on me and tried to kiss me. I had to defend myself. He's big and fat, so I had to be forceful to resist him. I left his room, thoroughly disgusted," she said.

"Everyone knew what Harvey was up to and no one did anything. It's unbelievable that he's been able to act like this for decades and still keep his career. That's only possible because he has a huge amount of power."

Asia Argento

The Italian actress alleges she was raped by Weinstein when she was 21.

She told The New Yorker he invited her to his hotel room, changed into a bathrobe and asked her to give him a massage.

After this, he forcibly performed oral sex on her, which she described as a "horrible trauma".

Lucia Evans

Evans told The New Yorker she was an aspiring actor when Weinstein sexually assaulted her at the Miramax office.

"He forced me to perform oral sex on him," she told the magazine. "He's a big guy, he overpowered me."

She said she was still haunted by it.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Paltrow told The New York Times he requested she meet him in a swanky hotel for a work meeting, before he began touching her and suggested they go into the bedroom for massages.

She refused his advances and confided in then-boyfriend Brad Pitt, who confronted Weinstein about his behaviour.

Paltrow told The Times she was "petrified" at the time, and fearful she would be fired after Weinstein's conversation with Pitt.

Angelina Jolie

Jolie says she had a "bad experience" with Weinstein.

"I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein in my youth and as a result chose never to work with him again, and warn others when they did," she told The New York Times.

Mira Sorvino

Sorvino told The New Yorker Weinstein assaulted her in a hotel room at the Toronto International Film Festival in 1995.

"He started massaging my shoulders, which made me very uncomfortable, and then tried to get more physical, sort of chasing me around," she said.

She says she managed to escape.

Rosanna Arquette

The Pulp Fiction star told The New Yorker she went to Weinstein's room for a meeting, and he asked for a message.

He then grabbed her and tried to make her touch his penis.

"My heart was really racing. I was in a fight-or-flight mode," she said.

After she refused to comply, she says her career suffered.

Ambra Battilana Gutierrez

The Filipina-Italian model says Weinstein groped her in his offices. She went to the police afterwards.

Zoe Brock

Brock, a New Zealand-born model, has described her own experience of alleged sexual assault by Weinstein.

She says she went to his suite, then Weinstein requested a massage from her then asked if he could massage her.

"As he started massaging my shoulders and down my back, I quickly felt very, very uncomfortable with it and I bolted for the bathroom."

She locked herself inside as Weinstein banged on the door and told her to come out.

"I was yelling at him, 'Put your clothes on, you naughty boy,' which seems bizarre in retrospect."

Katherine Kendall

Kendall told The New York Times she ended up in Weinstein's apartment, where he asked her to massage him. When she refused, "he literally chased me. He wouldn't let me pass him to get to the door".

Tomi-Ann Roberts

Roberts was an aspiring actress when Weinstein asked her to audition at his hotel.

She told The New York Times she found him nude in the bath, before he told her to get naked in front of him.

Ashley Judd

Judd told The New York Times he asked her for a massage in his hotel room.

Emma de Caunes

The French actress told The New Yorker Weinstein invited her to his hotel room, then took his clothes off and told her to lie on the bed. She left.

Romola Garai

Garai told The Guardian he got her to audition in a hotel while he wore only a bathrobe.

She "just tried to make out it was normal because as far as I was concerned it was a job interview. I knew something had happened to me that I didn't like and that I felt belittled by it. But I didn't feel like I had the right to complain."

Dawn Dunning

Dunning told The New York Times she was an aspiring actress when Weinstein told her to go to his hotel room, saying he would only hire her if she had a threesome him.

He said she wouldn't have a career if she didn't agree.

Rose McGowan

The New York Times reports Weinstein reached a confidential settlement with McGowan after an encounter in a hotel room. She has since emerged as a fierce critic of the producer.

Lauren Sivan

The former Fox News host says Weinstein trapped her inside a restaurant in 2007, attempted to kiss her and then masturbated in front of her.

Liza Campbell

Writer and artist Campbell told the Sunday Times Weinstein ordered her to his hotel room and told her to get into a bath with him. She refused.
