Two titans of New Zealand reality TV have met up and posted images online of their shared jaunt in Auckland, but they both insist they're keeping things purely platonic.

Former The Bachelor NZ star Nazanin 'Naz' Khanjani and current Married At First Sight NZ groom Haydn Daniels took to social media, with photos together on a Parnell sidewalk and at a Tank juice bar.

Naz, 27, has confirmed to Newshub she recently ended her relationship with a former partner and is currently single.

Haydn, 31, patched things up with wife Bel in the latest episode of Married At First Sight NZ, as the pair continue to endure an on-again, off-again relationship, since tying the knot.

Naz says she's known Haydn for a long time and the two have been chatting online a lot recently, before meeting up yesterday, but she says they didn't kiss and remain just friends.

"We just spoke about the shows we've been on, our experiences with them and how we're handling those," she says. "We just had a laugh about everything, really.

"Haydn is awesome, I had a lot of fun with him yesterday. I think we'll might meet up again."

Haydn didn't want to comment to Newshub, but on Instagram, said he'd known Naz "for ages" and the meet-up was "not a date".

Naz says, although she hasn't watched The Bachelor since she starred in it, she has been watching Married At First Sight NZ.

"I've watched snippets of it - I sometimes watch it, while I'm cooking dinner. It's very hard to judge, because I've been in a similar situation to them.

"I know how things can be portrayed on TV, but I personally feel like there's a few people on there just for shits and giggles," she says.

"My favourite person on there would have to be Haydn - he comes across as very genuine, very real. If it doesn't work out with Bel, it would be awesome if he could be the next Bachelor.

"I'm sure a lot of girls would sign up for that!"

Naz says the chances of her going on Married At First Sight NZ herself, however, are very slim.

"I'm a bit old-fashioned, when it comes to marriage."

Married At First Sight NZ airs Sunday and Monday nights on Three, with the full episodes also viewable online at ThreeNow.
