Rap duo Run the Jewels have been announced as the support act for Lorde on her North American tour.
The 'Royals' hitmaker has over 30 dates scheduled in the US and Canada starting in March, 2018, and will also be supported by Mitski and Tove Stryke on some of them.
Lorde says she's "soooo pleased [sic]" that Run the Jewels are joining her for the gigs, while they in return give her a "big shout out" for "having us along".
Run the Jewels are comprised of Killer Mike and El-P, both solo artists before they formed the group, which went on to score hits including 'Legend Has It', 'Nobody Speak' and 'Oh My Darling'.
Lorde and Run the Jewels both featured on the 2014 St Jerome's Laneway Festival line-up.
Before the large-scale North American tour, Lorde is performing in New Zealand, Australia and Europe in the remaining months of 2017, with support from Khalid at many of the dates.
