A new version of Steven Spielberg's classic Saving Private Ryan has been uploaded online with one major factor erased from it: Men.

The video has been released as a parody of the 'de-feminised' edit of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which has been widely mocked online this week.

The original version of Saving Private Ryan had a running time of 169 minutes - without men, it lasts less than three.

"In response to the [Men's Rights Activist] douche who edited all the women out of The Last Jedi, I decided to edit all of the men out of Saving Private Ryan," said Twitter user @LoganJames, who published the de-masculinised edit.

His version of the classic war film is very peaceful.

In a follow-up tweet, however, he said that Men's Rights Activists were angry with his work - so went ahead and made a 90 second version of Shawshank Redemption that also has all men removed.
