Vince Staples has shut down the GoFundMe page seeking $2 million for his early retirement, instead announcing he'll be donating the money to the Michelle Obama Library.

The 'Big Fish Theory' artist launched the campaign last week, giving fans the option to donate to the cause of allowing him to "shut the f**k up forever".

"No songs, no interviews, no anything," promised Staples. "Get off of my d**k, or fund my lifestyle. Either way, we appreciate you."

He then coincidentally launched a song called 'Get the F**k off my Dick'.

After raising US$2200 through the GoFundMe, Staples closed the campaign, announcing that he would be giving the money back.

He wrote on Twitter, "Seeing as we clearly won't reach our goal of 2 million dollars, I am cancelling the gofundme and refunding all the little people with big voices. I expect to hear no further slander."

He then revealed he would be "personally matching the donations made and donating the full amount to the Michelle Obama library of [North Long Beach]... in honor of you citch ass n***as. (sic).

"I love you all, good day. #gtfomd."

It seems we can expect to hear much more from Staples in the future.
