Daniel Radcliffe isn't just working out at the gym while he's staying in Auckland - the Harry Potter star has also ventured into the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park to enjoy viewing wild dolphins and whales.

Auckland Whale & Dolphin Safari posted a photo on its official Facebook page of the 28-year-old actor smiling alongside staff members.

"We had the pleasure of having British actor Daniel Radcliffe on board with us looking for whales and dolphins," reads the caption.

"It was awesome to be able to show him Auckland's Hauraki Gulf Marine Park during his stay here in New Zealand."

The post lists Radcliffe as the star of Now You See Me 2 and Imperium, "to name a few".

Radcliffe is believed to be in New Zealand for upcoming action comedy Guns Akimbo, the second feature from Deathgasm filmmaker Jason Lei Howden.
