Kendrick Lamar, Def Leppard, Queens of the Stone Age and Scorpions announce NZ tour dates

Kiwi music fans can expect concerts from Kendrick Lamar, Def Leppard, Queens of the Stone Age and Scorpions before the end of the year.

All four acts announced 2018 New Zealand concerts on Thursday morning (NZ time).

Rapper Kendrick Lamar, who recently made history by winning the Pulitzer Prize, will perform at Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium on July 17 and Auckland's Spark Arena on July 19.

Tickets go on sale April 30 for the shows, which are part of his Damn tour.

Queens of the Stone Age are bringing their Villains tour to Auckland's Spark Arena on August 23 and Christchurch's Horncastle Arena on August 25.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 3.

Eighties rock legends Def Leppard and Scorpions are performing together at Auckland's Spark Arena on November 12.

Tickets go on sale on May 4.

Def Leppard will perform the seminal 1987 album Hysteria in full at the concert, which also marks the first ever New Zealand show for 'Wind of Change' hitmakers Scorpions.
