Jada Pinkett Smith's emotional interview with Will Smith's ex-wife Sheree Fletcher

Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed she regrets dating Will Smith while he was still married, telling his ex-wife Sheree Fletcher, "I should have fell back".

Pinkett Smith started dating the actor while he was undergoing a divorce from Fletcher, with whom he shared a 3-year-old son, Trey, at the time.

The 46-year-old Girls Trip actress and Smith have since been married for 20 years.

In her new Facebook video series Red Table Talk, Picket Smith sat down with Fletcher to have an emotional discussion about some of their experiences with co-parenting.

"Because I did not understand marriage, I did not understand divorce, I probably should have fell back," Pinkett Smith admits in the clip, to which Fletcher jokingly replies, "You think?"

Fletcher talked about one time when she tried to call Trey. Unfortunately for her, Pinkett Smith picked up, said she didn't like the tone of her voice, and hung up.

"I called back and I happened to say, 'Bitch, you're living in a house I picked out,'" said Fletcher. "You said, 'It's my house now.'"

"Oh shit," Pinkett Smith responds as both women laugh.

The women also shared some tears over the moment Trey met Pinkett Smith for the first time, becoming emotional as they talked about their family unit.

"So Trey comes home and I said, 'How did you like Miss Jada?' He said, 'I really liked her, Mommy,' " Fletcher says. As Pinkett Smith begins to cry in response and she starts to cry, Fletcher reaches out and thanks her, "for loving my baby."
