Pink has once again schooled us all in the art of the virtual take down - this time, not by taking aim at Kim Kardashian's nudes, but by putting an ageist Twitter troll in their place.

One wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a Pink clap-back at the best of times, but especially not when she's backed by a gang of celebrity mates.

The drama started after radio station KIIS FM tweeted footage of Pink's adorable reaction to a 12-year-old fan singing at her concert.

Because it was Twitter and nothing is sacred in 2018, one commentator replied by throwing some serious shade at the pop star's appearance.

"Wow, Pink looks so old that [she] should be named Purple instead," they wrote.

The 38-year-old 'So What' singer fired back with a masterful response.

"You must be from LA. Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally," Pink tweeted.

"I've earned every f**king minute of my 38 years. How you lookin', though? Cause I never heard of ya 'til you put my name in your mouth."

And just when we thought this was the moment for Pink's triumphant mic drop, she added a cute new nickname for her critic: "I shall call you little purple troll."

Having finished with the feud, the Grammy Award-winner shared a message of self-love with her fans.

"I am of the mind-set that it's a blessing to grow old. That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you've laughed a lot."

Then, like a call for the Avengers to assemble, the Hollywood A-listers rolled in, tweeting their support for Pink.

"Agree Pink! We are supposed to grow old, and our faces and our bodies that carry us through this life," said Legally Blonde star Reese Witherspoon.

"Gotta have gratitude for every minute on this Earth."

Actors Josh Gad and Laura Wright also joined the fray to back the musician, both telling her she was "perfect".

Pink joked if she was still performing when she was 80-years-old, she'd name her show The Wrinkles and Rolls Tour.

In the meantime, she's bringing her Beautiful Trauma Tour to New Zealand for a whopping six shows in September.
