Rapper T.I. has been arrested outside his gated community in Atlanta.

He's been charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and simple assault.

The Grammy-winning artist apparently lost his key, and the security guard wouldn't let him in, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

He has been released on bail. His lawyer said in a statement he had been "wrongfully" arrested.

In 2009, the 'Whatever You Like' hitmaker - real name Clifford Harris - was fined on weapons charges and made to community service.
