Lush's new bath bombs turn water into jelly

It might not be to everyone's taste, but if you've ever wanted to take a bath in a tub fully of jelly, now you can.

Cosmetics company Lush has launched jelly bombs onto an unsuspecting bath-time market - and it's being very well received.

"Jelly Bombs are far more than a soak in slime" might not be the most arresting copy ever written, but read on and Lush's website tells you the bombs "release a spectacular jelly made from sodium alginate, which comes from a mineral-rich seaweed".

Apparently the "gooey jelly is superbly softening and soothing on the skin".

Lush New Zealand said it did not currently stock the new product, but could do in a few months' time.
