Getting cash for Christmas might seem lacking in imagination, but it's doubtful two lucky Lotto punters will care.
They're each $500,000 richer after scoring first division wins in Saturday night's draw.
One ticket was sold at Highpoint Temptations Lotto in Auckland, and the other at New World Churton Park in Wellington.
As great as winning $500,000 is, neither winner hit the Powerball, which will rise to $6 million on Wednesday.
Strike Four was also missed, now at $600,000.
