It's a lucky New Year for six Kiwis who won the last Lotto draw of the year.
While Powerball wasn't struck and rolls on to a jackpot of $5 million on Wednesday night, there were six winners of the First Division who each get $166,667.
Two of the winning tickets were sound at Auckland's Countdown Westgate, while the others were sold at Waihi Beach Four Square in Waihi, Westport's Dennis Bookshop, New World in Waimate and on Lotto's online site MyLotto, to a player from Palmerston North.
Despite not winning the First Divison, a Bay of Plenty player also won $1 million as part of the Triple Dip Christmas promotion.
Nine cars were also won across the country.
The winning numbers were: 01, 03, 12, 20, 21, 32, 13, with a Powerball of 05.
