One lucky punter has taken home a whopping $5.5 million after winning Powerball in Saturday night's Lotto draw.
That winning ticket was bought at Greerton Lotto in Tauranga, and earned the victor $500,000 by taking out Lotto's first division, and another $5 million by scooping Powerball.

Another first division winner earned $500,000 tonight after buying a ticket from Mahora Four Square in Hastings.
No one won Strike Four, and that will be rolled over until Wednesday night.
Lotto is encouraging those who bought tickets from the winning stores to check them immediately.
The Powerball win marks the third major win in a fortnight for Lotto players; two punters from Warkworth and Greytown scooped a colossal $19.1 million each last week, while one player from Hamilton also took out Powerball, earning $4 million in the process.
