The winning tickets were sold at in Auckland, Hamilton, Kaitikati, Feilding and Christchurch.
Powerball wasn't struck, and will roll over to $18 million on Wednesday.
The winning numbers were 6, 9, 23, 26, 29 and 37. The bonus ball was 17, the Powerball was 7. Strike was 37, 29, 8 and 6.
