Friday is the last day for investors to get their money back in the $18 million Hanover settlement.

The Hanover group hit financial trouble 10 years ago, owing investors more than $500 million to 16,500 investors.

Deloitte was hired to hand out the settlement money, and says there's around $2 million left for 480 investors who haven't put their hand up.

Most depositors were owed 16c for every dollar invested.

Any cash left over will go into the Government's unclaimed money trust account, where eligible investors can still stake a claim. If they fail to do so after six years, it goes to the Government.
