A lucky Lotto player won $12.5 million in on Saturday night with the numbers 15, 16, 19, 24, 25, 40, bonus ball 31 and the Powerball of 4.
The winning ticket was sold at Kuripuni Lotto and Post Shop in Masterton.
The total prize of $12.5 million is made up of $12 million from Powerball First Division and $500,000 from Lotto First Division.
A Christchurch player won the other half of Saturday night's Lotto First Division, also bagging $500,000.
The Strike numbers were 24, 19, 15 and 25, with a Christchurch player winning $100,000 by getting all four.
Last month, a Christchurch man won $20.2 million in a Powerball draw, and later $7.3 million was won by someone who bought a Powerball ticket in Te Kuiti.
