They say good things come in threes, and that certainly was the case for Lotto players this weekend.
Three of them split the first division prize in Saturday night's draw, each taking home $333,333.33.
The winning tickets were sold at Countdown Regent in Whangarei, Cape View Four Square in Haumoana and online to an Aucklander.
The good luck ended there though - no one took out the Powerball or Strike prizes. The former will jackpot to $8 million on Wednesday, and latter to $200,000.
The winning numbers were 2, 12, 19, 34, 35 and 38. The bonus ball was 3, the Powerball 9. Strike was 2, 19, 34 and 35.
