Former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd appeared in Tauranga District Court today, charged with breaching the conditions of his home detention sentence.
The 61-year-old was arrested on Saturday for allegedly possessing and consuming alcohol at his home detention address.
Just over a week ago, Rudd was sentenced to eight months' home detention, after he admitted to charges of threatening to kill and possessing methamphetamine and cannabis.
He has been remanded on bail until August 3, and has to submit to drug and alcohol testing at the request of police while on bail.
