A motorcyclist who was killed yesterday after a head-on collision with a car just north of Puhoi has been named.
He was 53-year-old David Francis Cruickshank, from Wellsford.
Police say he collided with a southbound car on State Highway 1 at around 6:40pm.
Four people in the car, including one child, suffered minor to moderate injuries.
Mr Cruickshank's death has been referred to the coroner.
