The Winter Games are underway in Queenstown and they've attracted some world-class competitors.
The games are headlined by Ted Ligety, and the legendary American downhill skier made quite the entrance - he choppered in from Tekapo.
Ligety is a two-time Olympic gold medallist and five-time world champion.
He's competing in the downhill slalom, and the odds say he'll win.
