A man in Bluff was rushed to hospital last night after falling 3m into a boat's freezing hold.
After falling, the man spent half an hour in the -20degC hold before being rescued, Fairfax Media reports.
He was rescued by firefighters from Bluff and Kingswell around 6:30pm and sustained serious injuries.
The incident is being investigated by WorkSafe.
