A search operation is underway in Canterbury after a 74-year-old man was reported missing.
Raymond Finnie was last seen on Friday wearing grey track pants and a dark woollen fishnet jersey.
Police say Mr Finnie's face has dropped on one side due to a previous stroke.
A silver Suzuki Swift, believed to belong to the missing man, was located on Whitecliffs Rd in Hororata on Wednesday but police say it may have been there since Monday.
Searchers are concentrating on the area surrounding the car.
