Emergency services have attended the scene of a serious motorcycle crash in Henderson this afternoon where police confirm a 52-year-old female has died.
The woman, who was a pillion passenger on the motorbike, was taken to Auckland Hospital by ambulance where she later died.
The crash happened on Candida Rd just after 1pm, and the road remained closed until 4:30pm.
Diversions were in place around the crash scene while debris was cleared from the road and the Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
