A former Wellington teacher accused of a raft of sexual offences against a schoolboy in her class bought him a cell phone so the pair could exchange explicit photo messages.
The woman, whose name is suppressed, has been charged with indecent assault, sexual violation and unlawful sexual connection when the boy was between 10 and 13 years old.
Now in his mid-teens, he told the Wellington High Court today he wanted to be in the relationship with his teacher and he wanted to have children with her.
He said he considered her his girlfriend and they exchanged X-rated messages including photos of their body parts.
Their relationship began in 2011 as just kissing but later progressed to sexual touching then oral sex and on a single occasion, sexual intercourse at a northern Wellington hotel.
He was 12 at the time of the alleged sexual intercourse.
Police were called when another teacher at his school confiscated the boy's phone when she believed she saw inappropriate text messages on it.
The accused teacher denies any of the offences took place.
The trial continues.
