Davender Singh trial: Accused touched weapon wet with blood

A High Court jury has heard one of the defendants accused of killing Davender Singh had their hands on the murder weapon while it was wet with blood.

A single fingerprint was found on the handle of a knife allegedly used to stab Mr Singh last August.

His wife and her lover are accused of his murder, but both blame each other.

A fingerprint analyst told the court today that the mark on the handle of the murder weapon is a match for the finger of Gurjinder Singh.
