The brother of Levin schoolboy Alex Fisher, whose body was found in sand dunes on Waitarere Beach, has appeared in court again charged with his murder.
Eric Baden McIsaac, 25, was remanded in custody until next year after a hearing in the High Court in Palmerston North today.
He is also charged with burglary and unlawful possession of a knife, and a fourth charge which is suppressed.
Justice Brendan Brown suppressed details of submissions made by defence lawyer Letizea Ord and remanded McIsaac in custody until February 2.
He has yet to enter a plea.
The body of 10-year-old Alex was found in sand dunes at Waitarere Beach on October 8.
He had suffered a head injury.
