A woman charged over a visa scam that's alleged to have potentially caught out hundreds of Filipino dairy workers is due back in court.
The Te Aroha-based 35-year-old is expected to appear in Hamilton District Court today facing three fraud-related charges.
The Filipino-New Zealand dual citizen was arrested after Immigration New Zealand became concerned about some visa applications made by Filipino workers last month.
She has been granted interim name suppression and remanded on bail, but was forced to surrender her passport.
Her arrest prompted changes to immigration rules to allow any workers caught out by the alleged scam to reapply with correct information.
