A woman who previously admitted to prostituting her daughter has had her guilty plea thrown out.
The 49-year-old, who cannot be named, was today deemed to have been unfit to enter a guilty plea in August.
Justice Graham Lang ordered that admission could now be withdrawn.
The woman was accused of prostituting her daughter to a 70-year-old co-accused for as little as $10 for each encounter.
The crown alleged the woman met with the elderly neighbour in Auckland over a six-year period from 2009, to arrange sexual encounters with her daughter who was nine at the time.
She and the co-accused will appear in February for the court to consider what the appropriate action to take is.
