Man crushed by trucks named

A man who died after being crushed by two trucks in Christchurch has been named.

Canterbury Police confirmed the identity of 65-year-old Colin Andrew Craig as the victim of the incident.

He was crushed between two trucks at a workplace near the Christchurch Airport and later died in hospital.

The death has been referred to the coroner and Canterbury Police and Victim Support are supporting his family and colleagues.

WorkSafe New Zealand is investigating.
