Police are investigating a car crash that killed a Blenheim man yesterday.
John Sandilands, 89, was the only person in his Volvo hatchback driving east towards Blenheim around 4pm when his car collided with an oncoming car.
The crash happened between Long Valley Rd and Kennington's Rd.
Mr Sandilands was flown to hospital, but died a short time later.
The two people in the other car received moderate injuries.
