Auckland police are seeking information regarding an incident on Greys Ave which left a man hospitalised in critical condition.
Police have confirmed a 28-year-old man fell from an apartment block in Auckland's CBD shortly after midnight on Monday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Marcia Murray says the circumstances surrounding the incident are still subject to an investigation.
"We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or anyone who has further information about the incident."
A scene examination has been concluded at the property, but police are still speaking to neighbours.
