One lucky Kiwi will be waking up $6.8 million dollars richer this morning, after Lotto's jackpot was struck last night.
According to the New Zealand Herald, the winning ticket was sold at Take Note Ohakune and was made up of the $6.5 million Powerball first division and $333,333 from Lotto first division.
It is the third Powerball win in under a month after a family in Timaru walked away with $7 million in early January, and in late December another $7.5 million was nabbed by a couple in Hamilton.
