Police have arrested a man in relation to the theft at Gun City where up to $20,000 in goods was taken on January 10.
A 31-year-old Selwyn man has been charged with shoplifting and released on bail. He is thought to have taken several items including an $18,000 night vision head unit, Fairfax reported.
He is due in Christchurch District Court later in the month.
