A New Zealand actor facing charges of sex offences against four women has returned to court - but still cannot be named.
The man, 45, appeared in Auckland District court today where a next appearance date was set down for March in preparation for this trial.
In November he pleaded not guilty to four charges of indecent assault and two of sexual violation.
Today his lawyer Stephen Lack asked for name suppression to be continued.
Prosecutors opposed this and next week the court will hear arguments about whether he should be named.
Last week, Judge Russell Collins declined media requests to photograph the man.
The offending is believed to have taken place between 2010 and 2013.
